"Super friendly. Great fried catfish! We came on a Friday and had the catfish and seasoned fries, and Lamb Gyro with fried Okra. The fried food had a nice crispy fry. The catfish was cooked to perfection. Affordable and delicious."

"Enjoyed daily menu items including delicious ham hocks, baked chicken, cheeseburger, corn bread, fried corn, and pound cake. Ms. Glen took great care of us and the only reason I gave it a 4 in atmosphere is because the decor is simple and could use more pieces! Come on down to a Taste of Glenny if you're passing through and looking for a soul food find. It was a great foody experience with a local feel, earning every one of the 5 stars."

"Miss Glenny was a pleasure to get to know. I flew into Memphis from Texas. A Tase of Glenny was the first place we stopped to eat. The wingz were unique and very good. The green’s were seasoned to perfection and a hearty serving. And that Caramel Cake was to die for. The next day I stopped in for fish, spaghetti, coleslaw and fries. And of course more cake. Do yourself a favor and stop by and enjoy the food and loves"

"We stopped here by chance looking for a place for lunch before going to Graceland. The BEST LUNCH we have had in a very long time. Location is a safe area and the restaurant is very clean. The owner and staff are the best of southern charm. You could not ask for a better lunch. Thank you."

"Miss Glenny is just lovely. Worth the stop just to meet her and say hello. The food is excellent. The breading on the fried chicken is light and crispy and there isn’t a soggy green to be found in the house. For true southern hospitality, Miss Glennys is the place to eat."

"Miss Glenny is a wonderful hostess. We were greeted with her warm smile immediately. The food was delicious. The meatloaf was out of this world. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just great food prepared with love. Restaurant was spotlessly clean. I pray that Miss Glenny and Taste of Glenny is still here when I get a chance to visit Memphis again. Highly recommended."
